Care Continuity
Every answer from the in-app Help centre, on one page. For step-by-step setup see the setup guide; for "what if this happens" see the what-if answers.
1. Create your agency account (New agency? Create account) and verify your email.
2. Open "Your agency" and add your agency name, logo and colour theme.
3. Add your clients (Clients, then + Add client). Fill in the service address; the map location is found automatically.
4. Add your workers (Workers, then + Add worker), including their daily hour limit.
5. Invite workers, clients and staff from Invitations and Agency team. They receive an email to create their own password.
6. Create your first shift from Schedule, then + Create shift.
You get 14 days free with full access and no payment details. When it ends the account becomes read-only so you can still see and export your data. Contact support@mydoller.com to continue.
Agency owner: everything, including the agency team, logo and theme.
Manager: clients, workers, schedule, replacements and invitations.
Payroll: financial drafts and the attendance log.
Worker: sees only their own visits and uses Reached / Leaving.
Client: sees only their own upcoming visits, when the portal is enabled.
Go to Clients and choose + Add client. A new client starts as a draft or active depending on the form. Use Inactivate or Archive when care ends. Upcoming visits must be resolved first so nobody is left unserved.
Open the client, choose Enable portal, then send an invitation from Invitations. Use Preview client portal to see exactly what the client will see before inviting them.
Go to Workers and choose + Record leave. Care Continuity then looks at that worker’s visits and prepares replacement drafts for you to approve.
Go to Schedule and choose + Create shift. Pick the client, worker, date and time. Shifts are whole hours and respect daily limits and travel time.
Familiar backup means this worker has visited this client before, so care stays consistent. New worker means this worker has not served that client yet. The continuity rate shows how often clients keep familiar faces.
When a worker is away, the app ranks available backups, preferring workers the client already knows. Nothing changes until a manager or owner approves a draft. You can also reject a draft.
Workers open the app on their phone and tap Reached at the client’s home and Leaving when they finish. The phone location is read only at those two taps and compared with the client address.
Location permission is probably blocked. In the phone browser settings for care.mydoller.com, set Location to Allow, then reload. Location is never tracked in the background.
Open Clients and choose Update location from address. Check the address includes street, city and province or state. Address lookup uses OpenStreetMap.
Owners, managers and payroll can open the Attendance log. Each row shows time, accuracy, distance from the client and a map link.
Check spam or junk and wait a few minutes. Emails come from no-reply@mydoller.com. Ask your owner to resend an expired invitation, or use Forgot password on the sign-in page.
Sign out, choose Forgot password and follow the email link. Reset links expire, so request a new one if yours does not work.
Use the Export button on Schedule, Clients and Workers for CSV, Excel or PDF. On a phone, open the app on a larger screen for exports. For a full export, email support@mydoller.com.
Email support@mydoller.com from the owner’s address. We close access and delete records within 90 days, or sooner on request.
