Privacy notice
How Care Continuity collects, uses, stores and protects personal information. Last updated October 1, 2026.
Who we are
Care Continuity is a scheduling and care-operations service for private-pay home care agencies, provided by 2615881 Alberta Ltd., operating as A Digital Growth and offering Care Continuity under the MyDoller brand (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada). In this notice, "we" and "us" mean that company.
Agencies that use Care Continuity decide what information they enter about their workers, clients and staff. For that information the agency is the organization responsible, and we act as its service provider. For account, security and billing information about the agency itself, we are responsible.
Worker records: contact details, languages, work-status information and expiry date, availability, leave, pay rate, and uploaded documents.
Client records: name, contact details, home address, date of birth, gender, diet, care plan and specific needs, emergency contact, billing rate, and uploaded documents or photos.
Operations data: schedules, visit records, replacement suggestions and decisions, service notes, invitations, invoice drafts and pay drafts.
Attendance data: when a worker presses Reached or Leaving, the time, the phone location at that moment, its accuracy, the distance from the client address and a verified or not-verified result. Location is requested only at those two taps. We do not track workers continuously or in the background.
Technical and security data: IP address, browser type, error logs and an audit log of important actions such as approvals and permission changes.
We do not collect card numbers or bank details in Care Continuity today. If paid billing is added, payments will be handled by a payment provider such as PayPal and this notice will be updated first.
Why we use it
To provide the service: sign-in, role-based access, scheduling, replacement planning, attendance checks, notes, exports and draft invoices and pay.
To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, investigate problems, keep audit records and meet legal obligations.
To contact you about your account, invitations, password resets, security and service changes.
To improve reliability and support. We do not sell personal information. We do not use client, worker or health-related information for advertising.
Who else handles it
Supabase provides our database, user sign-in, file storage and server functions. Data is stored in the United States (East US, Ohio). Information stored there can be accessed by courts and authorities in that country under its laws.
Our web host serves the website files only. Care records are not stored there.
An email service sends invitations and password-reset messages.
OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) receives only the client address text, so it can be converted into map coordinates for attendance checks. No name or other client detail is sent.
An uptime monitor checks that the website is reachable. It receives no personal information.
We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect people from serious harm. We do not otherwise share personal information with third parties.
Where it is stored and how long
Production data is stored in the United States. Agencies must tell their workers and clients this when they collect their information.
We keep an agency’s information while its account is active. After an account is closed we delete or anonymize its information within 90 days, unless we must keep something for legal, security or accounting reasons. Backups are rotated on a schedule, so deleted information can remain in backups for a limited time.
Audit records and billing records may be kept longer where needed for security or legal reasons.
How we protect it
Connections use HTTPS. Access is limited by role and separated by agency. Private documents are not stored in public folders. Stored data is encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Important actions are logged. See the Security and data retention page for more.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify the affected agency without undue delay and give it the information it needs to meet its own notification duties.
Your choices and rights
Workers and clients: your agency controls your record. Ask your agency first to see, correct or delete your information. If you cannot reach it, contact us and we will help route the request.
Agencies and account holders: email support@mydoller.com to access, correct, export or delete your information, withdraw consent, or ask a privacy question. We aim to respond within 30 days.
You can also complain to the privacy regulator for your province or state; in Canada, that includes the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Consent, purposes and accountability
We collect only what is reasonably needed to run the service, and we use it only for the purposes described here. Where the law requires consent, agencies obtain it from their workers and clients before entering their information, and we rely on the agency’s confirmation that it has done so. Workers are told in the app when location is captured.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use agency, worker or client information for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.
A named person at 2615881 Alberta Ltd., operating as A Digital Growth and offering Care Continuity under the MyDoller brand (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) is responsible for our privacy practices. Reach them at support@mydoller.com.
Transfers across borders and US residents
Information may be processed in, or accessed from, Canada and the United States, and so may be subject to the laws of those places, including lawful access by courts and authorities there.
For US agencies: we act as a service provider/processor and use agency information only to provide the service. We do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Residents of some US states have privacy rights; direct requests to the agency, or to us at the email above and we will help route them.
Children and changes
Care Continuity is for adults who work for or manage care agencies. It is not directed to children.
If we change this notice in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for agencies, notify the account owner.
The agreement between you and us for using Care Continuity. Last updated October 1, 2026. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
1. The service and who may use it
Care Continuity is provided by 2615881 Alberta Ltd., operating as A Digital Growth and offering Care Continuity under the MyDoller brand (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada). It is a business tool for care agencies and their authorised staff, workers and clients. You must be at least 18 and, if you register an agency, have authority to bind it to these terms.
These terms include our Privacy notice, Disclaimer, Refund and cancellation policy, Cookie notice and, for agencies, the Data processing terms.
2. Accounts and security
Keep your sign-in details private and do not share accounts. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@mydoller.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
The agency owner decides who gets which role and must remove access for people who leave.
3. Your data and your responsibilities
You keep ownership of the information you enter. You give us permission to host, process and display it to provide the service.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and quality of what you enter; for having the consent and legal basis to collect it; and for giving your workers and clients any required notices, including that data is stored in the United States and that worker location is recorded at Reached and Leaving.
You are responsible for your own scheduling, care, hiring, payroll, tax and employment decisions. Replacement suggestions and financial drafts are aids that a person must review and approve.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for emergencies or life-safety dispatch.
Do not upload unlawful content, malware, payment card or bank details, passwords, or sensitive data that the service is not meant to hold.
Do not share accounts, impersonate others, probe or attack the service, bypass security or role limits, scrape data, or try to access another agency’s information.
Do not use the service to unlawfully track, harass or discriminate against any person.
We may suspend access to protect people, the service or other customers.
5. Free trial, plans and payment
New agencies receive a 14-day free trial. No payment details are collected during the trial.
Planned plans: Starter US$29.99 per month (up to 5 workers), Growth US$79.99 per month (up to 15 workers) and Pro US$149.99 per month (up to 40 workers), billed after the trial. When you subscribe there is also a one-time setup fee of US$49 (Starter), US$99 (Growth) or US$199 (Pro). Annual plans save 40% until 30 October 2026. Paid billing is not yet enabled. Before any charge, we will show the final price, tax and billing terms and ask for your agreement.
When a trial ends without a paid plan, the account becomes read-only. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days’ notice.
See the Refund and cancellation policy.
6. Changes, suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, legal requirement or security risk, and will give notice where reasonable.
After termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy notice. Export what you need before you close the account.
7. Intellectual property
We own the service, its software, design and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own agency operations while your account is active.
If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the service without obligation to you.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of recommendations or location checks, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
See the Disclaimer for important limits on what the service does.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, or for harm arising from care, staffing, payroll, tax or employment decisions made using the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event, or CA$100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and compensate us against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from information you enter without proper authority or consent, your breach of these terms or the law, or your use of the service in a way we did not permit.
11. Service changes and events beyond our control
We may update, add or remove features. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of internet, hosting, email, mapping or location services.
12. Governing law, disputes and general terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your location gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights without our consent. These terms and the documents they refer to are the whole agreement between us about the service.
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify the agency owner. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
Questions: support@mydoller.com.
13. Notices and electronic communication
We may give you notices by email to the address on your account or inside the service. You may give us notice at support@mydoller.com. By using the service you agree to receive notices electronically.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer-protection or privacy laws that cannot be waived.
What Care Continuity is, and is not. Last updated October 1, 2026.
Not medical, emergency, legal, payroll or tax advice
Care Continuity is scheduling and record-keeping software. It does not provide medical, nursing, clinical, emergency, legal, employment, payroll, tax, accounting or insurance advice or services.
It is not an emergency or life-safety system. In an emergency call your local emergency number (911 in Canada and the United States).
Care plans, specific needs and service notes are information entered by your agency. We do not check their accuracy or suitability.
Suggestions and drafts need human review
Replacement recommendations and scores are suggestions based on the information in the system. A responsible person must decide and approve.
Invoice drafts and worker pay drafts are calculations from recorded hours and rates. They are not invoices, payroll, pay stubs or tax documents. Review and correct them before use. Deductions, taxes, overtime, holiday pay and legal requirements are not calculated.
Location checks can be wrong
Attendance checks use the phone’s location and a client address converted into map coordinates. Phone signal, buildings, weather, device settings and map data can make a check wrong in either direction. A result of verified, outside radius or not verified is evidence to review, not proof of presence or absence.
Privacy and health-information laws
Agencies are responsible for following the privacy and health-information laws that apply to them. Care Continuity is not offered as a service that meets HIPAA business-associate requirements. US agencies covered by HIPAA must not store protected health information in it unless and until we agree to a business associate agreement in writing.
Data is stored in the United States. Agencies must make sure that is acceptable for their workers, clients and regulators.
Availability and third parties
We work to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, failures or events outside our control. Keep your own backup arrangements for critical schedules.
The service relies on third-party providers, such as hosting, email and mapping. We are not responsible for their failures or content, or for external websites we link to.
No guarantees
Features, results and examples shown are not guarantees of any outcome such as continuity of care, cost savings or time savings. Use of the service is at your own risk and subject to the Terms of use.
How to get help with Care Continuity. Email support@mydoller.com.
Contact us
Email support@mydoller.com. We aim to reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, Mountain Time, excluding Alberta holidays).
Include your agency name, your role, the email address on the account, the page or action that failed, the time it happened and, if you can, a screenshot with personal details hidden.
Common questions
I did not get my invitation or reset email: check spam or junk and wait a few minutes. The email comes from a MyDoller address. Ask your agency owner to resend the invitation if it expired (invitations last 7 days).
I cannot sign in: use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page. Reset links expire; request a new one if yours does not work.
My trial ended: the account becomes read-only. Contact us to continue.
A worker cannot press Reached or Leaving: the worker must allow location for this website in the phone or browser settings, and be within the window from one hour before the visit to two hours after it ends.
A client address does not verify: check the address spelling. Care looks up the address on OpenStreetMap; use the "Update location from address" button on the Clients page after correcting it.
How do I change the agency name, logo or colour? The agency owner can do it from the "Your agency" page.
Privacy requests and security problems
For access, correction or deletion requests, or to report a security concern, email support@mydoller.com with "Privacy" or "Security" in the subject.
Please do not email passwords, full payment details or unnecessary client or worker health information.
What support cannot do
Support cannot give emergency, medical, legal, payroll or tax advice, and cannot make care or staffing decisions for your agency. In an emergency call 911.
Trials, cancellation and refunds. Last updated October 1, 2026.
Free trial
New agencies receive a 14-day free trial with no payment details required. You can stop at any time during the trial without charge.
One free trial is offered per business or person. Repeat sign-ups using the same device, email or phone may be declined a second trial.
Cancelling a paid plan
Paid billing is not yet enabled. This policy applies once it is.
You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There is no long-term contract and no cancellation fee.
After cancellation or a failed payment the account becomes read-only. You can still view and export your records for a reasonable period before deletion as described in the Privacy notice.
Refunds
Fees already paid for a billing period that has started are generally non-refundable, and we do not give partial-month refunds for cancelling early.
We will correct billing errors, duplicate charges and charges made after a valid cancellation. Contact support@mydoller.com within 30 days of the charge.
If a serious fault in the service prevented you from using it for a significant part of a paid period, we may at our discretion credit or refund the affected period.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer protection or other law that cannot be waived.
Taxes and currency
Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable taxes, such as GST, are shown before you pay where required.
The practical measures we use to protect Care Continuity data. Last updated October 1, 2026.
Access control
Every person signs in with their own account. Access is limited by role: agency owner, manager, payroll, worker and client each see only what their role needs.
Each agency’s records are separated at the database level, so one agency cannot read another agency’s data.
Sensitive client fields, such as the care plan, specific needs, date of birth and emergency contact, are hidden from ordinary browser reads and exposed only through limited, role-checked functions.
Protection of data
All traffic uses HTTPS with HSTS. The website sets security headers that restrict where content can load from and prevent embedding in other sites.
Data is encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Private documents are stored in private storage, not public folders. The agency logo is the only public file.
Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us. Password-reset and invitation links expire.
Location data
Worker location is requested only when the worker presses Reached or Leaving. It is shown to the agency owner, manager and payroll role for that agency only. There is no background or continuous tracking.
Monitoring and backups
Important actions are written to an audit log. The website is monitored for downtime, and database health is watched.
Backups are taken on a schedule.
Where data lives
The production database and file storage are hosted by Supabase in the United States (East US, Ohio).
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while an agency account is active. After closure, data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, except records we must keep for legal, security or accounting purposes. Backups are overwritten on a rotating schedule.
Agencies may ask for an export or deletion of their data at any time at support@mydoller.com.
Incidents and reporting
If we confirm a breach affecting an agency’s data, we will tell the agency without undue delay and give details it needs to assess its obligations.
Found a vulnerability? Please email support@mydoller.com with "Security" in the subject. Do not access other people’s data while testing. We will not take action against good-faith reports.
What Care Continuity stores in your browser. Last updated October 1, 2026.
What we use
Essential browser storage keeps you signed in and secure, including your sign-in session and your "Remember me" choice. The service cannot work without it.
A small amount of storage remembers the page state needed to complete things like password reset or accepting an invitation.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no social media trackers and no third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own website, not from Google.
Your choices
You can clear site data in your browser at any time, which signs you out. Blocking essential storage will stop sign-in from working.
If we add optional analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will ask first and update this notice.
Our commitment to making Care Continuity usable by everyone. Last updated October 1, 2026.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. We use readable text sizes, strong colour contrast, visible keyboard focus, labelled form fields and layouts that work on phones and tablets.
Known limits
We have not yet had a full independent accessibility audit. Some screens, such as data tables and exports, may be harder to use with screen readers. We are improving them.
Tell us
If something is hard to use, email support@mydoller.com with the page and what happened. We will try to give you an alternative way to do the task and fix the problem.

Terms that apply to personal information an agency enters into Care Continuity. Last updated October 1, 2026. They form part of the Terms of use; this is not legal advice.
1. Roles
The agency decides why and how personal information of its clients, workers and staff is collected and used ("Agency Data"). We process Agency Data only as a service provider on the agency’s behalf. Where an agency is a custodian under health information law (for example Alberta’s Health Information Act), we act as its information manager for the Agency Data, and these terms are intended to form part of that arrangement. Agencies should confirm with their own advisers whether additional agreements are required.
2. Our commitments
We process Agency Data only to provide, secure and support the service, and as the agency instructs through its use of the service, or in writing.
We keep Agency Data confidential and limit access to people who need it for those purposes, who are bound by confidentiality.
We use the security measures described on the Security and data retention page and keep them appropriate to the risk.
We do not sell Agency Data, use it for advertising, or combine it with other customers’ data.
3. Subprocessors and location
Current subprocessors: Supabase (database, authentication, storage and server functions; United States, East US Ohio); an email delivery service (invitation and password-reset email); OpenStreetMap Nominatim (client address text only, for map coordinates). The website host serves static files and holds no Agency Data.
We require subprocessors to protect data to a standard comparable to this one. We will give agencies at least 30 days’ notice of a new subprocessor that will handle Agency Data; an agency that objects on reasonable grounds may close its account.
Agency Data is stored in the United States and so may be accessible to US authorities under US law. The agency is responsible for telling its clients, workers and staff.
4. Agency responsibilities
The agency confirms it has a lawful basis and any required consent to enter Agency Data; has given its people the required notices, including about location recording at Reached and Leaving; and will enter only the data it needs.
US agencies subject to HIPAA must not store protected health information unless we have signed a business associate agreement.
5. Requests and assistance
We will pass on to the agency, promptly, any request we receive from a client, worker or staff member about their data, and will not respond except to say we have referred it.
We will reasonably help the agency respond to access, correction and deletion requests, and provide export tools.
6. Breach notification
We will notify the agency owner’s account email without undue delay, and aim for within 72 hours of confirming a breach of security safeguards affecting Agency Data. The notice will describe what happened, the data involved, what we are doing and what we recommend. The agency is responsible for any notification to individuals and regulators.
7. Return and deletion
On request, or after closure, we will make Agency Data available for export and then delete or anonymize it within 90 days, except where law requires retention. Backup copies are overwritten on their normal rotation.
8. Audit and records
On reasonable written notice, no more than once a year unless a breach occurred, we will give the agency information reasonably needed to confirm compliance with these terms. Contact support@mydoller.com.
9. Liability and changes
The liability limits in the Terms of use apply to these terms. We may update these terms as the law or service changes and will notify the agency owner of material changes.
